Right of withdrawal for consumers

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that can be attributed predominantly neither to their commercial activity nor to their independent professional activity.

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Hecht & Barsch GmbH, Benzstraße 46-50, 12277 Berlin, Germany, e-mail: support@hechtundbarsch.de) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an e-mail). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, although this is not mandatory. You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online at https://widerrufsbutton-cdn.e-recht24.de/019edae1-74e5-717f-a35a-d6f63de4afba. If you use this option, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt (e.g. by e-mail) without undue delay, on a durable medium, including information on the content of your withdrawal notice and the date and time it was received.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notice concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of any additional costs resulting from your choosing a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we received notice of your withdrawal from this contract. For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees as a result of this reimbursement. We may refuse reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have provided evidence that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and, in any event, no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You will only be liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from any handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
